I really hate shopping, but this might make it less miserable. Think it might really be this easy some day?
On a completely unrelated note, do any of you compost? I think I want to start composting outdoors (not on my counter top) but have very limited space and budget. Anyone?

We compost. I keep a bowl in the house and then empty it into the tub at night. We made our own compost pile out of a plastic storage bin by drilling holes in the top for air and a tiny hole at the bottom for drainage. Ideally we'd do it in the garden but since we are temporary this is what works now. In case you need more info:
You'll need to flip & stir the mixture every 1-2 wks. And make sure the mixture is 50% green (alive) to 50% brown (dead).
